at work today (basically a minimally beefed up pharmacy tech) about how she has, frankly, been rude to me for the past several weeks. I’ve been hauling ass and she always seems to be disproportionately unkind to me. I have an employee evaluation coming up, and so, rather than having her go to my manager with a problem, I decided to go to my manager and say something along the lines of “Hey, L has been treating me as though I’m not doing my job correctly every time I work in the IV room. Has anything been brought to your attention that I could work to change? I would like to proactively solve this problem and am working to be the best employee I can be.” What does this Tech Spec decide to do? spend 10 minutes bitching me out about how I don’t know how to do my job and how I’m to sensitive and take everything personally, and that she doesn’t come to work to make friends.

Neither do I, But I do expect some sort of common courtesy and kindness among employees, instead I’m stuck with a woman that prides herself on being referred to as “the General” and has asked is those that work under her fear her.

What the fuck is wrong with my work environment? Morale is so low that our administrator has issue a warning that we need to smile more and create an air of happiness even  if there isn’t one.
